Robert Sternberg´s Six Factors

1. Spatial ability: or the ability to visualize a problem spatially; skills one would associate with geometry, geography, architecture, mechanical drawing, art, map making, and interpreting.
2. Perceptual speed:  or the ability to grasp a new visual field quickly, something that brings to mind the playing of Nintendo video games or piloting a jet aircraft.
3. Inductive reasoning: the ability to reach conclusions and generalize from evidence or other information.
4. Verbal comprehension ability: or the ability to comprehend text either quickly or at deeper levels.
5. Memory: the ability to store and retrieve information and ideas.
6. Number ability: or the ability to manipulate numerical ideas and to learn algorithms.
